Sustainability Week 2024
About the project
Sustainability Week 2024 (SW24), recognized as the largest private-sector sustainability event in Latin America and the Caribbean, held its first-ever edition in the Amazon. The gathering brought together global leaders, CEOs, and specialists from diverse industries to discuss, propose, and accelerate solutions for the planet’s future.
With a robust and multidisciplinary program, SW24 went far beyond a stage for dialogue. It became a strategic space for building financing mechanisms, fostering international collaboration, and advancing high-impact environmental and social initiatives. Major corporations and global institutions took part, reinforcing the essential role of the private sector in driving sustainable transformation.
The event’s structure was carefully designed to reflect its purpose: to integrate with the Amazonian biome and deliver an experience aligned with climate urgency and socio-environmental responsibility. Every detail, from spatial design to participant flow, was crafted to ensure that the experience resonated with the environment and the event’s core mission.
My role
I contributed to this project across four key areas:
Strategic Planning: defining the event architecture, experience goals, and guiding principles for the entire execution;
Experience Design: designing the full participant journey, spatial dynamics, atmosphere, and sensory rhythm;
Design Concept Creation: developing the creative and experiential concept that shaped the narrative, visual direction, and overall identity of the event;
Remote Production Support: overseeing the setup process from a distance to ensure consistency with the concept, narrative, and execution standards.
The outcome was an event that became a global reference, serving as a catalyst for meaningful action, connecting leaders, inspiring solutions, and reinforcing that sustainability is not an option, but an essential path for the future of organizations and society.
