Sustainability Week 2024
Where global leaders met the Amazon.
We designed the experience architecture for Latin America and the Caribbean's largest private-sector sustainability event, its first-ever edition held in the Amazon, connecting global leaders and CEOs around real climate action.
The project won the Lusophone Creativity Award 2024 Grand Prix in Sustainability Project.

The challenge
Sustainability Week 2024 needed to become more than another sustainability conference. As the largest private-sector sustainability event in Latin America and the Caribbean, it had to bring together global leaders, CEOs, and specialists to move beyond dialogue into real financing mechanisms, international collaboration, and high-impact environmental and social initiatives, all while holding its first-ever edition in the Amazon itself.

My role
I contributed to this project across four key areas:
-
Strategic planning: defining the event architecture, experience goals, and guiding principles for the entire execution
-
Experience design: designing the full participant journey, spatial dynamics, atmosphere, and sensory rhythm
-
Design concept creation: developing the creative and experiential concept that shaped the event's narrative, visual direction, and overall identity
-
Remote production support: overseeing the setup process from a distance to ensure consistency with the concept, narrative, and execution standards
The result
Every detail, from spatial design to participant flow, was crafted to integrate with the Amazonian biome and reflect the urgency of the climate conversation. The event became a global reference, serving as a catalyst for meaningful action, connecting leaders, inspiring solutions, and reinforcing sustainability as an essential path for the future of organizations and society.
